Format |

Form roller(s) |
Rollers which transfer ink or water to the surface of the printing plate. |
Fountain |
The container on a printing press which holds the ink or water. |
Fountain solution |
A mix of water and chemicals which is applied to the printing plate and prevents ink from spreading to non image areas. |
Four colour process printing |
The process of using CMYK inks to produce full colour images. Also called full colour printing. |
