Also called foil blocking. The process of foil stamping an embossed image onto the sheet. |

Machine used to fold printed sheets. |
| Font |
Style of type (or text) characters such as Times Roman. |
| Format |
The overall size, shape and layout of a printed product. |
| Form roller(s) |
Rollers which transfer ink or water to the surface of the printing plate. |
| Fountain |
The container on a printing press which holds the ink or water. |
| Fountain solution |
A mix of water and chemicals which is applied to the printing plate and prevents ink from spreading to non image areas. |

The process of using CMYK inks to produce full colour images. Also called full colour printing. |
